Organic Birch leaf Botanical Shampoo - Citrus and Cedar
We pick the leaves in May, just after leaf buds open to the spring sun. At this early time the sheer leaves contain very high doses of valuable substances for both healing and beauty, mainly vitamins and natural saponins.
After infusing clean fresh spring water with Birch leaves we add some of the mildest veg surfactant available (made from coconut and sugar) that adds a rich, soft and mild lather.
We also use high quality natural guar as a detangling agent and easy combing enabler. For a super clean and fresh scent organic steam destilled essential oils are used. For this product we finally decided on a nice blend of some of our personal favourites; sweet orange, lime, lemon and cedar wood. A perfect blend that feels very fresh yet not overpowering.
This organic shampoo is 100% biodegradable. Mild and gentle enough to use for the most sensitive skin/scalp, even kids. This is a long lasting shampoo, a little goes a long way, even for thick/longer hair.
Free from parabens/SLS/ synthetic perfume, artificial colorants. Vegan.

Our organic shampoos are based on infusions of plants and herbs. They foam richly and softly. The surfactants are the mildest possible and are made from coconut and sugar. For a wonderful fragrance, organic genuine essential oils are used.
Birch contains countless nutrients in its tender leaves. Birch leaves also contain large amounts of natural saponins, detergents. Birch infusion has therefore been used for hundreds of years to create a mild hair care wash, a hair treatment used to get shiny and soft hair. The leaves have high levels of valuable substances, mainly vitamins and natural saponins. Birch shampoo is suitable for you with normal to dry hair.
We never add: parabens, lauryl sulfate, SLS, paraffin, silicones, citric acid, synthetic fragrances/colorants. However, always: a mild and biodegradable product in recyclable PET packaging. Certified for Green Salon. Vegan. 100% biodegradable.
This product has been given its lovely scent by some of our favorite oils; orange, lime and cedarwood - a fresh citrus with a base of cedar.
The shampoo is pH balanced with lactic acid to pH 5.5 - the same as the scalp.
The shampoo has eco-certified preservation and will keep for at least 6 months after opening.

Massage the shampoo into wet hair and scalp. Massage the tips of the finder carefully into the scalp. Add more water if necessary. Rinse with warm water. Repeat once more if necessary. The product reaches full foaming effect with the second wash.
